Silent Witness...

I can not imagine this-it is still hard for me to believe at times that this stuff REALLY happened. I bitch about such trivial things, I need to be thankful that I have what I have and didn't have to live through this horror...

I wholeheartedly agree...when I read something like that, I always stop and put everything in perspective. Not that we need to qualify our pains, but that we do understand what the extremes can be. Thank you for making me take a moment out of my life to pay some respect to someone else's.

Why thank you! I dig all animals, but my dogs rock! My Newfoundland-Lab mix didn't get one bit mad that I got lost last night! =)

I know, it does put a lot in perspective doesn't it? My Dad was little when WW II was going on and he is always reading about it-STILL! This story just REALLY touched my heart, how sad and terrifing that must have been.
